    What is this topic about?
    It is about the PC3 and other PC-Series synths.

    What isn't it about?
    Anything Else

    What about Amps for the PC3?
    Are these amps made specifically for the PC-Series? If not, then no. Amps are amps are amps are amps. If an amp sounds good on a Chinese Casio Ripoff, they will sound great on a PC3. Keyboard Amps are different than a Guitar Amp or a Vocal Amp...but they are still amps.

    Look...this is a forum about the PC3...it isn't a forum for anything that a PC3 user might want to post about...we aren't telling you to go away, we are saying LOOK AT ALL THE DIFFERENT FORUMS WE RUN HERE and post in one of them...I mean, why have a dozen forums that are easy to search and organized? Why not just have one forum for Sonikmatter where it didn't matter what anyone posted in there?

    What if I like other synths?
    We like other synths too...but we don't discuss them in the PC3 section. Unless you are specifically asking how to get the two to interoperate. And even then, it might get moved to another forum. How can I create SETUPS so that I can play my Korg with my PC3? Cool. Do the sounds of the Fantom sound good with the PC3? No. It isn't about OPINION or AESTHETICS...its about how do you get something (THE PC3) to work with something else (TECHNICAL LEVEL).

    But I'm A Musician And Want To Get Pissy About Rules!!!
    Ummmm....ok...it is oh so very sad that your life revolves around getting upset about going to a website that you didn't pay for, but ok. Sonikmatter and Sonikmatter alone pays for this website...not Kurzweil or anyone else. If you are supporting this site, we might listen...but most supporters pay because they want us to keep doing things exactly how we have been doing it. Most of our lives are outside of the internet, and thus while you are our bestest friend online, we aren't going to take much seriously here. It just isn't worth it. Go out and hug someone.

    Not really, but they have no sense of humor pointed by the fact they are getting angry that I'm saying they have no sense of humor. If they did, they'd laugh about this. We actually just hate your favorite band. Regardless of the genre. And if you come in here talking about INSERT BAND as if we should all be on our knees fondling them, we are going to make fun of you. Oh yeah, *NEVER** refer to band's member's by their first name as if you have shared sloppy moments with them, because we know you haven't and it is a little degrading to those of us that have.

  2. Scoring help needed: Need for Charity Event!

    Hey! I am holding a charity event in less than a month, and promised scores are not showing up.

    Anyone here have experience transcribing orchestral arrangements and converting them to things like string quartet?

    I run a small charity organization helping homeless kids both in Indiana and Vietnam, where we have build schools and fund a few hospitals. Yeah...this is why I'm not around much any more...we are holding our annual fundraiser and hired a small orchestra for this, and several of the pieces are just not showing up (with excuses every other day...you know, sorta like me when I say I'm going to upgrade this site!)...

    If anyone wants to help, let me know! I need the help BADLY...and there are kiddos that REALLY need the help, and thus need our fundraiser to go smoothly!

    Made a few changes to the site, the BIG BIG BIG one is the Facebook! You can now like posts and facebook them.

    And will update your statuses...so you emo mother***ers that need to update FB ever day with how ef'n sad you are...well, now you can be all emo here -- and just like on the Face, no one will care here either. Maybe your mom will...you should invite her to join this site. I mean, I've seen photos of her back in the day and she was HOT...and probably the only reason you have the friends you do is because your friends secretly want to...well...this is a family site...

    iPhone integration: Yes, we lick the sweaty balls off Steve Jobs...now that we got that out of the way, oh wait...I still have one of them in my mouth...that's better...it was a big one...it was his soccer ball...what? I said this was a family site...

    Go there and download the client...supposed to have an iPad version soon (it works on it, but it ugly). What you don't have an iPad...some of us have seven. Go there, and download it...supposedly there is going to be an android version of the app...and for those that don't have either...well, I think there is a way to get to this site through tha intarweb.

    Damn...there are other updates, I just haven't figured them out yet! Someone tell me what they are!!! if you see anything new and cool, let me know...if you see something that doesn't work...well...what are you waiting for! Fix it! And then tell me!!!
