The Oscillator Triangle doesnt seem to function on a very important patch of mine, it has noise routed in as one of the Osc's but I want to lessent that volume of that osc3, but strangely, shifting the dot within the triangle doesnt work. What mod source might I be messing with, or could I have turned off that triangle somehow????

btw i dont mean triangle oscillator, i mean the triangle thing where we mix the osc volumes together, in this one patch it seems not to funtion.. how could I have turned that off?

OK....some places to look...starting with the most obvious stuff first.

- is oscillator 3 actually turned on?
- have you used any filtering to change the noise "colour"?
if so, check filter 1 type - this can effectively filter out the osc 3 noise signal by restricting bandwidth.
- also check filter cutoff/res etc. - including in Router
- osc 3 envelope? - of note...attack/sustain settings
- osc sync settings
- is the Triangle being controlled by the Square/Mod Envelope? (see Router)

If none of these are pertinent...let us know.

yea osc3 is definitely on, hehe its a noise osc, so obviously i only need the triangle position to be in the middle of osc1 & 2, but only a littttlllle bit over to 3. I ended up just using a similar patch I had but this is so strange.

nothing mods the osc3 level, which I thought had to be it.

osc sync settings, im pretty sure since osc3 is jus noise then that doesnt matter right.

I had the same problem and found this forum via google. In the end I found out that the triangle was not working due to the vector envelope. If it's on it takes over from the mixing triangle. Once I changed the vector mode to off the triangle worked as expected. cool.gif
